EXTRA INFORMATION

Sawdust Blobs and Hash Arrows

Toilets & Coffee
Please arrive at Egypt Point between 9:30-10am for check-in and t-shirt collection.
There are public toilets 0.3 miles to the east of Egypt Point. Hopefully they will be open and have plenty of loo roll (bring a pack of tissues just in case). While you’re there, Cabin on the Green is opening early for us from 9:30am, if you fancy a coffee, cake, ice cream, etc.

Dogs on leads please!
Please ensure that you keep you dogs on a lead through this area on the first leg between Pallance Lane and Noke Common Road. There is an old deaf cat who recently got attacked by a dog and the owner has asked me to pass on the request.

Cows & Calves near St Catherine’s Lighthouse
There may be cows and calves in the fields next to St Catherine’s Lighthouse. Our trail goes through the field, you enter at your own risk and should walk not run near the cows and calves. If you would prefer not to go through the field, there are other options:
1. Back track and go up the steps to The Buddle.
2. Carry on along St Catherine’s Road to The Buddle and not follow the trail down Castlehaven Lane.
3. If you want to see St Catherine’s Lighthouse and avoid the field with cows and calves, then from The Buddle, carry on along St Catherine’s Road and go down the footpath on the other side of the Lighthouse.
