Hello, thank you for asking to be put on The Great NorthSouth Run 2024 waiting list.

We are sorry you didn’t get a place in time, the event sold out a lot quicker than anyone could imagine. We are already working on and trialling a better registration system for 2025!

The number of event places is restricted by the capacity of the two double decker buses that we hire. The return trip to Cowes (via Newport) is the only time the buses may reach capacity, they never have but we must be strict on numbers just in case. The other factor restricting numbers is The Buddle Inn at the end. We pretty much fill all the outside space and there can be a bit of a queue at the bar and a wait for food. Our other main worry would be if the weather was bad and everyone tried to squeeze inside the pub.

Everyone that has a secured place will receive an event T-shirt in their chosen size and chosen fit (mens/unisex or ladies). The event T-shirts have now been ordered and printed. For YOU to move from the waiting list to the event list, will first require someone to dropout of the event that matches YOUR chosen T-shirt size and fit. Then we will arrange as best be can to swap the places over and if applicable sort out any refunds/payments.

The ONLY way to move from the waiting list to the event list is through us (and this email address). Please do not accept a swap from anyone without emailing us first to authorise it.
